how to measure your body to know your body shape

to know which diva body you possess i read an atricle on http://www.womansmagazine.net that says you should be comfortable and not holding your breath or anything like that, measure around your chest with the fullest part in mind, your waist 1 inch above your belly button( i say measure where you put your trouser/skirt/...) hips should be measured across the widest section. its more accurate if you have help doing these measurements. i tried doing it on my on and i got different numbers for each time i did it lol... so do ask someone to do it for you..

BODY TYPES:

Hourglass Shape: This is where the bust and hips measurements would be almost the same circumference, though the bust can be ‘one inch’ larger than the hips. The waist would be much smaller. A perfect hourglass shape is where the difference between the ‘waist and the bust’ and ‘waist and hips’ is at least ‘nine inches’.

Pear or Spoon Shape: If there is a wide difference in measurements between the hips and bust and hardly any between the chest and waist. Hips are ‘two inches’ or more larger than the bust and waist is less than 9.25″ smaller than the bust.

Ruler(Rectangle) Shape: If there is hardly any difference in the measurements of waist, bust and hips. The waist is less than ‘nine inches’ smaller than the bust.

Conical(Triangle) Shape: Normally where the bust and waist are same but the hips are ‘at least nine inches smaller’ than the chest. The standard measurement is, bust 3.6″ or larger than the hips and the waist less than 9″ smaller than the bust.

Apple Shape: If the waist measures larger compared to the hip and chest.

go divas! xoxo
